Department of Ophthalmology

INTRODUCTION

The Department of Ophthalmology was established in 1992 as part of Tra Vinh Provincial Hospital. Growing together with the hospital, the department has 33 years of professional operation. Through the efforts of all its staff, the Department of Ophthalmology has made and continues to make significant contributions to the hospital's development.

The Department of Ophthalmology examines and treats eye diseases. Each year, the eye clinic receives and examines about 25,000 patient visits for eye conditions. Patients trust and are satisfied with the expertise and dedication of the doctors. Many conditions are detected early and treated promptly.

In addition to initial examinations, the Department of Ophthalmology also provides inpatient treatment for many patients with various conditions.
Inpatients receive attentive care, with medications and technical services provided fully and safely. The department currently has 16 beds in the hospital's inpatient area.

All patients receive timely emergency care and treatment; for many years there have been no professional errors or complaints regarding the expertise or service attitude of the department's healthcare staff.
